Personal Profile: Dr Victoria Manning

Dr Victoria Manning BM, DFFP, is a fully accredited General Practitioner with a specialist interest in Aesthetic Medicine and is fully registered with the General Medical Council, the Medical Defence Union and the British Association of Cosmetic Doctors.

She qualified in 1996 from The University of Southampton in Medicine & continued her post graduate general practice training at St Mary's Hospital in London. Dr Manning & her family then moved up to Shropshire in 1999 to complete her general practice training in March 2000.

She was a practising GP in North Shropshire for 9 years before specialising in aesthetic medicine. Dr Manning moved down to the Island in November 2010 to join the Lighthouse team. In Febraury this year the Lighthouse Cosmetic Skin Clinic was started.

Dr Manning is a member of the British Association of Cosmetic Doctors which, currently, is the only regulatory body in the UK for Cosmetic Medicine. She attends frequent educational meetings both in the UK and abroad and constantly updates her practice by attending practical demonstrations with the world experts.

Her leisure time is spent either riding her horse 'Max' or sailing with her family on the South Coast.
